Nice to meet you!

My name is Radek, and I live in Germany. My focus is to create insightful projects from structured data. I use tools like Python and SQL to extract meaning and libraries like Plotly or BI tools like Tableau to share understanding and beauty. Making complex topics accessible is something I particularly enjoy and where I leverage my rich experience as a professional teacher and science communicator.

A large part of my work is related to scientific and environmental topics, because these are my life-long passions. I possess PhD in the didactics of physics and had the pleasure to teach physics and math for several years as well as doing science outreach for the Czech Academy of Sciences. I also spent many years volunteering and working for the Friends of the Earth.

Apart from that, I like evening city walks, all-day mountain hikes, star gazing and watching Netflix in German.
